Vedic line Ontaut Facepack Review

Vedic line Ontaut Facepack – Rs 175 , available at Healthkart & Urbantouch

As per Vedic Line
Strengthens elasticity, rejuvenates & revives skin. Formulated with Morus Alba Root & Chamomile Extract, Vitamin B3 & vitamin c to firm up tissues & remove mild tan.
To use - Evenly apply on face, when semi dry, give short massage with wet hands & clean it. Apply Moisturizer.

Texture of the facepack is creamy, it feels and and looks like clay based product and yes I could spot Kaolin in ingredients list. It smells amazing, the fragrance is so soothing..
I use it as a regular facepack, apply it after thoroughly cleansing and exfoliating skin. The best part is it doesn’t sting like other herbal/ ayurvedic face packs  Also it doesn’t dry out completely no matter how long you keep it applied. I sprinkle some water on face and rub pack in circular motions, then use a sponge to remove it.

As you can see OnTaut facepack comes in a tube with flip top cap. This one tube would last 12-15 usages In my opinion if you love to apply thick layer of facepack like i do.
After washing it off skin feels nourished and smooth, not stretchy or dry. I don’t know how it would increase skin elasticity since I don’t have saggy skin as of now. It hasn’t cause any breakouts.

Vedic Line products are free of parabens so you can go ahead and treat your skin with it.
Overall Thoughts
A parabens free formula , which leaves skin smooth and nourished. After washing it off skin doesn’t feel dry. Formula itself doesn’t dry up completely on your face and stays moist no matter how long you keep it on. It has lovely fragrance. It hasn’t broken me out and would be a good product for dry to normal skin type (I cannot talk about oily skins since i have dry skin). A good budget product and i would definitely repurchase it.

Vedic Line Papaya Face Pack Review

Review : Vedic Line Papaya Face Pack
Hi beauties !
Today I will be reviewing Vedic Line’s Papaya Face Pack. Well I don’t know about you all, but I’m quite lazy when It comes to pampering myself, and using face pack is like a thing I rarely do, I can’t even recall which face pack I used and when before getting this one ROTFL . The reason I wanted to switch over and become active was, cause since last 2 months, my skin is in very bad condition, its dry in the T-zone (can you believe it ?? Shock ) and oily on the rest, I was quite oblivious before that, but the oily zone is completed totally dry and brittle that I can’t keep that area bare, and I layer on a thick layer of moisturizer on it and leave it like that. Oh I’m off track Thinking , haan it was actually when my skin turned the tables, since then I have been using ayurvedic/herbal/natural stuff, just in case anything suits my irritated sensitive skin. This is one of the products that I’m currently using.. Smile

What the Vedic Line Papaya Facepack Claims :-

Helps to remove blemishes, spots and promotes fairness by increasing blood supply to skin.

  • Price : MRP 175/-
  • Quantity : 100ml
  • Shelf life : 3yrs from the date of manufacturing.

As you can see, the face pack is housed inside a round tub which is strong and has this plastic lid to avoid spilling (which won’t happen actually cause the pack is quite thick Razz ) . The packing is quite orangey to give you the feel of “Papaya“ Wink. I don’t mind it as the packaging is quite good and not boring, also if the packaging is good then one tends to use the product more Grin .
Ingredients :- Purified water, Clay blend, Almond oil, palm wax, papaya extract, aloe Vera, sodium benzoate & phenoxyethanol.

My Experience with Vedic Line Papaya Facepack

The texture of the face pack is thick, and not too thick that you can’t apply it without mixing with water. It is just apt to be applied directly from the tub to the face Razz Being a tub packing Is a bonus at times, because you know how much is left and can finish up the product easily, while on the other side I hate it too, since one has to dig in fingers/spatula/spoon whatever, it is still a pain !!
The pack is muddy in color, has a slight flowery fragrance, like the one you get while you enter a spa salon, it’s a nice fragrance which is mellow and calming. After cleansing and scrubbing my face, I apply it all over my face while my face is little damp so as to ease in application. This also helps in applying a thin layer of pack all over the face, and you don’t waste product. It dries off in around 10mins, and then I clean it with a wet sponge, and wash my face.
The pack is quite good on its own, but as far as the fairness quotient is concerned, it leaves a nice clear skin (just what any other face pack will give), not too much to talk about. I used this pack almost daily to help with the pimple marks I got recently, and I can see a bit of lightening in them, but can’t assure that the change is because of the mask alone because I’m using some other products along to get a healthy skin right now.

What I Liked about Vedic Line Papaya Facepack

I’m still using and will use it as it’s a clay mask which is good for summers, also it doesn’t have this tingling sensation, which I like the most. I can apply it and be free Grin If I see any major changes soon, I will update it in my upcoming posts Smile If you have acne prone skin, then it might not work on zits and being a papaya face pack, it might even worsen your skin’s condition. But if you’re skin has recovered, then you must try this. Overall I found this pack very good, considering that it works well. At this price and quantity, this pack will easily last for around 3months if you use it almost regularly, and even more if you use it sparingly.

Have you used Vedic Line Papaya Face pack ?

Godbless !! Kiss

Vedic Line Choco Deli Sugar Scrub Review

Hello everyone, today I am sharing my views about a body polish/body scrub from an organic brand named Vedic Line Choco Deli Sugar Scrub with Jamaican Sugar. It was my first body polish ever and I was very excited to use it. This is my second product from Vedic Line brand and I have already reviewed Vedic Line Banana Pulp Face Mask (click here to view full review). I bought this product online from Jabong.com.

Packaging : The packaging is almost the same as of the Vedic Line Banana Pulp mask. It comes in a chocolate color plastic tub with screw cap. The packaging is quite sturdy and can be carried very easily while traveling.
My Experience : This body polish has a brownish golden color and has strong choco fragrance, that sometimes feels overpowering. It has a thick consistency with creamy texture. It contains medium size granules that help to exfoliate skin effectively. I used this scrub twice and now I decided to share my view about this product. Only a small amount of this scrub is required and I think this scrub will lasts for 8-10 usages when used on whole body.

I use this scrub after taking shower, when my body is still damp. I take an appropriate amount of this polish on my palms and massage gently all over my body. Be gently while applying any kind of exfoliating product for your face or body. If you put little more pressure while massaging, you will end up with rashes and breakouts. Sometimes the granules present in this scrub feel bit harsh on my sensitive skin. And its fragrance is very overpowering and personally I don’t wear such strong smells, as they give me headache.

This scrub contains Jamaican sugar and thus exfoliates skin pretty well by removing dead skin cells. My skin feel clean and soft after using this scrub and it does impart a decent glow on my skin. It not only exfoliates but hydrates my normal skin. I always completed my home spa by applying my favorite Vaseline Healthy White body lotion. It is pretty decent product that removes dead skin and provides moisture to the skin. The only issue that I found with this scrub is its strong smell that lasts for more than 2 hours after use. I think next time I will try some other variant from this range.
Vedic Line Choco Deli Sugar Scrub Price in India : Rs.180 for 65ml

What I Liked :
  • Creamy textures
  • Natural ingredients
  • Not very expensive
  • Easily available online
  • Exfoliates skin and impart nice glow
  • Hydrates skin
  • Suitable for all skin types
What I Disliked :
  • Granules are bit harsh
  • Strong cocoa smell
  • Unhygienic packaging

Product Information :
Name : Vedic Line Choco Deli Sugar Scrub
Claim : Polish and removes dead cell. Restores even complexion and texture.
Usage : Gently massage for 2-3 minutes on moist skin. After cleaning, apply moisturizer.
Ingredients : Water, Cocoa Butter, Caramel, Cocoa Powder, Sesame Oil, Natural Granules and vitamin E.
Shelf Life : 3 years

Vedic Line Aromatherapy Face and Body Wash with Black Currant Review

Yes, I have been hoarding bath products like anything! :D Continuing with the string of bath product reviews, today I am going to review the Vedic Line Aromatherapy Face and Body Wash with  Black Currant. I loved the fact that it explicitly claims to be a face wash as well as a body wash, as I belong to those special species who love to use their body washes on face, face scrubs on body, lip balms on cuticles and such multitasking products :P

PRICE: Rs.150

QUANTITY: 100ml

INGREDIENTS:

MY EXPERIENCE: Vedic Line Aromatherapy Face and Body Wash is a pale violet shower gel, in a pump dispenser bottle. The packaging does make it completely leak proof and travel friendly, but only thing it squirts out so little amount, that I require to pump it 4-5times to get a palm full of the gel. It lathers decently and  washes without leaving my skin dry, but it is not moisturising either. However, my facial skin did feel stretchy when I use it as a face wash.

Now coming to the smell, I have very limited experience of the Black Currant smell, with one of an ice cream and another might have been of some smoothie or a juice. However, the shower gel reminds me more of an incense stick smell that I couldn't place, but it is certainly invigorating and it relaxes me everytime. It is quite subtle, and hardly lingers on skin. The fact that it has anti-bacterial properties too, is an added benefit in this monsoon. Other than this I didn't notice anything special though it is comparatively pricier than other shower gels, given the quantity.

WHAT I LIKED:
  • The gel like consistency is perfect, it is neither runny nor too thick, but spreads and foams easily.
  • Gives decent lather even without a loofah. Honestly, I never used a loofah with this one.
  • I love the smell, as it is so relaxing.
  • Doesn't dry out my skin and neither does it leave any residual layer.
  • I quite like the no-nonsense, leakproof, travel friendly packaging. Only had it pumped better, it would have been outstanding.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE:
  • Comparatively pricier for the quantity.
  • The smell hardly lingers after the bath.
  • It finished up real fast. Don't know if that's because I liked to use it more, or because the quantity was so less. ;)
VERDICT: It scored mainly for the lovely relaxing fragrance, which I liked the most and the fact that it is gentle enough to be used on face too. If you like trying out new body washes then you might give this a try!

RATINGS: 4 out of 5

Vedic Line Sunny White Whitening Cream Review

All right, so I swear I will not do another Vedic Line product, but I HAVE to tell you guys about this one. Personally, I feel that most creams which talk about whitening are really not worth my money, but this one has done a lot of good for me in the last three weeks, and I am sort of telling you guys to give this one a chance. This is sort of like a massage cream, so what I do is this – I apply this cream during a body massage and then go take a shower afterwards. What they ask you to do is to massage this cream in circular motion, where you want to brighten the skin, and then once you have massaged it on, rinse off.
Read our previous post on Vedic line below :-

About Vedic Line Sunny White Whitening Cream:-

Fairness Cream to Remove Body Tan. Formulated with Beta Glucan, Morus Alba Extract and Calendula Extract for gentle exfoliation of skin.
  • Price: INR 200
  • Quantity: 50 ml

This summer, when temperatures hit around 40-42 degrees, I had to reluctantly go out a few times, and my skin got tanned badly in a couple of places. What was more I had really dark spots in patches. I used this, and the tan ACTUALLY went down within 2 days. Also, I have checked through the ingredients list and I find this cream to be way less harmful than the random fairness cream, half of which contain parabens. Vedic Line products are paraben free… which is a blessing.
When I received the package, I loved the fact that it had a glorious sunny-yellow colour and it was sooo bright and summery! It was love at first sight! Also, this comes with a screw top cap. That part I do not like, is if I forget to screw it on properly, it leaks.

The cream is slightly watery in consistency… reminded me of slightly thick flour paste one uses to thicken soups. But it works, which is a good thing! It also has a slightly weird smell, which I personally don’t care for much.
Below, I will give you a demonstration of the way it works. Just watch the knuckles of my hand! All pictures are taken in the same light.

Do you see the difference?

What I like about Vedic Line SunnyWhite Whitening Cream Review:-

  • Bright, sunny packaging
  • Paraben free
  • Hygienic with a screwtop cap
  • Cleans my skin and gives it a healthy glow
  • Mildly exfoliating
  • Removes dark patches
  • Works great on my skin and actually removes body tan
  • Does not break me out or give me rashes (as with a lot other creams)

What I don’t like about Vedic Line SunnyWhite Whitening Cream Review:-

  • Not very travel friendly
  • Smell’s not too pleasant for me
  • Does not work on blemishes and scars
  • Verdict: I like this cream. It does what it says.  It is not very travel friendly but it did not harm my skin nor give me a rash.
  • Will I repurchase: Yes.

Vedicline Choco Vanilla Face & Body Butter Review

Hey ladies:)
Winter is one season which makes the skin to undergo the maximum torture. It dries, chaps, cracks what not. So, in order to hit it we apply loads of moisturizers and body butters.
Though they say they work, not many would work as per the claims.
Let me introduce you to a body butter which smells yummy.. It is

Vedicline Choco Vanilla Face & Body Butter

What the website says about this:
Vedic Line Chocolate Spa is based on Ayurvedic concept of harmony & balancing of fragrance, colour & texture. This helps to relax & rejuvenate. We have chosen, only world wide accepted & known combinations of chocolate with fruits & nuts to enhance & rejuvenate skin.
Vedic Line Chocolate Cosmetics contain essential fatty acids, cocoa, vitamins, anti oxidants & minerals which help in growth & renewal of healthy cells. Fragrance of products stimulates passion & lifts up energy.
Whipped Cream with mega moisturizing & calming effect. Softens & nourishes skin.

How To Use:
Massage, with right strokes & pressure.
Ingredients,Price and Weight:
Its 225 for 65ml

The package:
The product comes in a sturdy tub package with a twist round cap. The product is sealed with a silver sheet. We need to cut open to get the the cream out.

My Experience with the product:
I bought this in the month of November, during the time of very cool winter. I have a combination skin. Like not so oily and not dry but in winter it turns dry. like super dry. So,the usual moisturizers doesn't work for me. Even if I apply some cream, I should reapply in sometime.
So, I was searching for a body butter which was said to keep the skin moisturized for a longer time.
My search provoked me to get this body butter. I always liked the vedicline products as they are natural and stuff.
This product is one of the chocolate spa series they launched. You have got too many products of chocolate flavour. I picked this coz I badly needed this than anything else :P

As soon as you open the lid, the chocolate and vanilla flavour hits your nose. Its pretty strong. It has a strong vanilla fragrance and look of a chocolate whipped cream. In fact I felt it has a look of peanut butter :P
The texture is super creamy. Little is enough to cover up the hands. It is thick in consistency.
Like the method says, you need to massage hard. But once the skin absorbs the cream it makes your skin silky soft. I usually apply this in the night as I feel its too thick to apply in the day time and go out with the same.
The look of the product:

After massaging:
It felt great on my skin :D

Pros:
1.Works best on the moisturizing part
2.Natural product.
3.Sturdy packaging.
4.Very little product is required for the usage
5.Easily available in the market.
Cons:
1.Dipping the finger every time you use can not be a good idea. But most of the body butters are this way.
2.The smell can be strong to few. But it fades away soon leaving very mild fragrance.
3.Price May be.
Recommendation:
If you are looking for an affordable body butters,do give this a try.It wont disappoint you.
Question:
Do you use body butters? If yes, which is your favourite one?
